Four Books, Four Worlds — Created with Passion

2026 has become an important year for J. S. Eryndor and Eryndor Publishing.

After years of writing, developing ideas, revising manuscripts and shaping new stories, we have brought four very different books to readers.

Each book has its own world, characters and identity, but all four were created from the same foundation: a deep love of storytelling and the determination to turn an idea into a complete book.

For us, publishing does not begin when a book appears in an online store.

It begins much earlier.

With a single idea. A character. A place. Sometimes only one scene that refuses to disappear.

From there, the real work begins.

Stories are written and rewritten. Chapters change. Dialogue is sharpened. Characters develop in unexpected directions. Covers are designed and refined until they reflect the atmosphere of the story inside.

Sometimes an entire chapter has to be rewritten.

Sometimes one sentence is read twenty times before it finally feels right.

And sometimes we spend hours looking at a cover because one small detail still does not belong.

That process is part of what we love about making books.

The Last Summer of Nova

The Last Summer of Nova takes readers into a young adult fantasy world of floating islands, endless summers, yellow ribbons and mysterious marks.

Nova is sixteen when she receives the mark that means her next summer will be her last.

Everyone around her has been taught to accept what the marks decide.

Nova refuses.

She wants to reach her seventeenth birthday, discover the truth and understand why people marked for their final summer are taken away aboard a white airship.

Her journey gradually reveals that the world she has always known may have been built on something very different from the truth.

At its heart, The Last Summer of Nova is a story about freedom, courage, growing up and refusing to accept a future simply because someone else has chosen it for you.

The House at the End of the World

The House at the End of the World is a quieter and more emotional story.

Somewhere at the edge of the world stands a house.

It can give you your deepest desire.

But every wish has a price.

A memory.

The story follows a deeply personal journey through grief, love and loss. It asks how far someone might go for one more moment with a person they have lost — and what remains of us when the memories that shaped our lives begin to disappear.

Fantasy provides the setting, but the heart of the story lies in something very human: learning that holding on and letting go are sometimes part of the same journey.

I Have Brought You This Far

I Have Brought You This Far tells the story of Lena.

After the death of her father, home slowly becomes a place where she has less and less room to become herself.

Her grandfather Willem had always been different.

He listened.

He allowed her to make mistakes, discover photography, make her own choices and find out who she wanted to become.

But Willem is gone too.

What Lena still has are her memories and an old recorder containing the messages he left behind.

Hearing his voice brings her back to moments from her childhood, but his words also force her to look ahead.

Gradually, Lena is confronted with a difficult question:

How much of another person’s pain should you continue carrying simply because you love them?

I Have Brought You This Far is a character-driven story about family, grief, guilt, growing up and finding the courage to choose your own life.

Sometimes the person who showed you the way must eventually be able to say:

I have brought you this far. Now you have to continue on your own.

The Wrong Crown

With The Wrong Crown, J. S. Eryndor returns to adventurous young adult fantasy.

It is the first book in The Reluctant Prince series.

Finn is seventeen and works in the royal stables of Highcrown.

He is not a chosen one.

He is not secretly a prince.

And he certainly does not want to become one.

During the Crown Festival, however, Finn saves someone from a runaway horse and catches the ancient royal crown.

The crown lights up.

From that moment, everything changes.

The royal court begins to believe that Finn may actually be Adrian, the crown prince who disappeared twelve years earlier.

King Aldric desperately wants to believe that his son has finally returned.

Finn knows that something is wrong.

And Lyra, the sharp and observant daughter of Duke Vale, is one of the few people at court who suspects the truth.

What begins with one impossible accident pulls Finn into royal politics, old secrets and the mystery surrounding the real missing prince.

The Wrong Crown combines fantasy, humour, mystery and adventure with a protagonist who never asked to be important.

Four Different Stories

These four books could hardly be more different.

The Last Summer of Nova explores freedom and destiny through a colourful young adult fantasy world.

The House at the End of the World uses fantasy to explore grief, memory and love.

I Have Brought You This Far is an intimate story about family, loss and learning to choose your own future.

And The Wrong Crown introduces a new fantasy adventure filled with royal secrets, mistaken identity and a boy who finds himself standing in exactly the place he never wanted to be.

Different worlds.

Different characters.

Different emotions.

But every book was created with the same care and passion for storytelling.

More Than Writing

A book is more than its manuscript.

For every release, we also spend considerable time thinking about presentation.

The title has to fit the story.

The cover has to communicate the atmosphere before a reader has opened the first page.

Typography, colours, imagery and composition all contribute to that first impression.

We want every book to have its own visual identity while still feeling like something that belongs to J. S. Eryndor and Eryndor Publishing.

Writing and design therefore remain closely connected throughout the entire process.

The goal is not simply to finish another file.

The goal is to create a book.

Something a reader can discover, open, experience and hopefully remember long after the final page.
